  1. Application to Housing Association.
  2. Prove you are able to obtain a mortgage, and the maximum amount you are able to borrow, in a written format acceptable to the Housing Association.
  3. Agreement in principle from the Housing Association to proceed.
  4. Find property on the open market via an Estate  Agent, make an offer, when the offer is accepted send property details and  memorandum of sale ( obtained from Estate Agent) to Housing Association to  obtain their approval and confirmation of level of grant.
  5. Contact us to arrange appointment to discus mortgage options.
  6. Appoint a solicitor to act on your behalf .
  7. Following appointment we will submit  your application to chosen lender on your behalf. At that time the lender will  instruct the survey/valuation.
  8. Solicitor requests searches and makes pre-contract  enquiries.
  9. Offer received from Lender- copy required by  Housing Association together with a copy of survey/valuation report
  10. Solicitor receives contracts and proceeds to  Exchange and Completion
  11. Completion Day -  the day you receive the keys to your new home!
